There are some who live life stuck in yesterday. Episodes and scenes from painful past experiences keep coming up, bringing unrest to the mind and body. They hold unforgiveness to those they believe have caused them pain.

At some point I found myself in this trap friend. Stuck in the fog and illusion of pain that I could not see the possibility of life going any other way. It didn’t take long for my body to catch the memo and I found myself anxious, feeling physical pains here and there with no energy for anything.

There is another way friend.

Today I share with you 3 ways to make peace with the past, let go of what could have been and Live Here Now.

There is quote that says, “unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die”. When we hold on to the past, we take away from the chance of living here and now and enjoying life in the present moment. The past, though dead and gone, can keep itself alive and recreate more of itself if we don’t forgive or make the conscious choice to release our painful experiences with love.

When we make the choice to forgive, we are not excusing the other’s behaviour, if another person is involved- we are setting ourselves free, to live the abundant, peaceful life we deserve. In good health of mind and body.

We recognise the power we have. Power to cultivate peace and release ourselves from past attachments that hold us back. We are showing up fully as the most beautiful and authentic versions of ourselves.

Friend, making the intention to heal was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am here because of that intention and wish the same for you.
